Jonas is an expressive snowboarder and an amazing artist. As a professional artist, Jonas feels that he has always had a need to express his creativity somehow and his grandfather was an artist as well; so that also had a big impact on his life. Just like snowboarding, art is a nice way to be present in the moment and the two often go hand in hand for him.
Jonas was hooked on snowboarding from the very first day, Lillasportspegeln was in Tänndalen doing an event about snowboarding, so he and Jakob (his brother) got the day off from school to film with them as beginners who are learning. He fondly remembers catching air and landing in soft snow for the first time, and he is still chasing that feeling today.
A perfect day for Wilhelmsen starts with yoga and meditation early in the morning. After that a nice breakfast. Of course its been snowing a lot over night so he and his friends ride pow all day, then finally back home for a nice vegetarian dinner with his Girlfriend, their 2 kids, and 2 cats. Ending the day by playing with his son, drinking some hot tea, watching a movie, and then going to bed early so he can do it all over again the next day.
